We are a compilation of dedicated, hard working guys who are absolutely committed to bringing you the finest decoys of the highest realism and quality in existence. We take great pride in our work and refuse to be second best. We want our customers to experience decoying like they never imagined!
When we aren't busy building decoys, chatting with customers or designing newer and better products we are off pursuing our passion for the outdoors.
We would like to take a minute to introduce ourselves:
Cory Miller
My name is Cory Miller. I have lived in the WillametteValley all my life. My first hunting memory was pheasant hunting with my dad in Eastern Oregon. I then began hunting ducks the following winter. Since then I have become addicted. I started goose hunting at the age of 15, and now spend most of my time hunting geese from September to the end of February. My other interests include archery hunting for deer and elk, tournament bass fishing, hunting chukars in E. Oregon, and most recently gobblers in the spring.
Dave "Tiny" Hanson
Dave is an incredible asset to the DSD Team. His great work ethic and dedication to his job are unsurpassed. Dave too has an eye for quality. His primary duty includes overseeing the manufacturing of molded decoy body parts but he is also a creative designer. Dave's most recent project includes the design and manufacture of the DSD Flapper.
When he is not shattering production records or perfecting his flapper design, Dave is chasing steelhead in his drift boat or BBQing with friends. Locally he is known for his knack for catching fish even when other anglers are struggling. Dave also has a reputation for being handy around the grill and can BBQ a slab of ribs that are to die for.
Dave does a daily impression of two people hard at work.
Bryan Stone
Bryan is another dedicated member of the DSD Team. He is an avid goose hunter and remarkable contest caller. Bryan's work duties include assisting Carl with decoy production activities such as painting, flocking and quality control of the finished product. He has an eye for detail and like Carl knows exactly what a goose should look like. Bryan is very good at what he does and has a talent for picking up on things fast. He is also a privilege to work with.
Outside of work Bryan enjoys hunting, camping, hiking and playing baseball. He is an excellent center fielder and an outstanding hitter with speed, power, a canon for an arm and a great eye. Bryan also enjoys competing in the calling circuit and is well known for sounding deadly on a goose call.
Bob Korepta
Bob is a great addition to the DSD Team. His hard work and positive attitude make him a pleasure to work with. Bob takes pride in his work and insists on maintaining high quality standards. Bob assists Dave Hanson with decoy body molding and has become highly efficient in a short time.
Bob also is a dedicated hunter, chasing waterfowl, upland birds and big game in the fall and winter. He has taken multiple Pope and Young blacktail bucks with a bow, a highly impressive feat. Bob also enjoys fishing for salmon and steelhead.
Bob recently retired from the U.S. Forest Service where he spent 29 years fighting fires across the country. Bob also served 2 years in the U.S. Army including one year in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
