Our Jake Strutter features the same ultra realistic, attention grabbing look of our original Strutter decoy in a more portable, less intimidating size. One of the great New features of the Jake Strutter that separates him from our original Strutter, is that his wings and beard are built into his body. Simply add a tail fan and he is ready to go! (Tail fan not included).
Like all our turkey decoys, the Jake Strutter is made out of our legendary A.C.E. Technology which means that he is built to take a beating (a must for a gobbler decoy with this caliber of realism). There is no inflation required, so his rugged body will always hold it’s natural shape. Also like our other turkeys, he can even withstand an accidental shotgun blast or broadhead through the body with only minimal damage. Made in the U.S.A.

Just finished “Gobblerizing” my Jake Strutter, I added a full fan and long beard and my White Headed decoy design, I wanted this in a smaller body strutter in a gobbler format and this fit the bill.

I had really good results with the White Head Strutter last year. It was a pain to haul it and the wings with the turkey fan in its holder as well. I received my Jake Strutter several weeks ago. I agree with the other reviewers that it will be nice to not have to install the wings and beard.

First hunt had a Tom come in at full strut and postured over the Jake Strutter. Got him with a bulkhead shortly after. Love the smaller design with the wings molded in as part of the decoys. Easy to transport into the field when hiking in.

You need to kill a jake in order to use this decoy. Or buy a tail. Wish it came with a fan tail that u could switch for a real tail if u wanted. Specially for the price.

The bolt length was off of a small run where they were being cut to short and we have found a more reliable bag manufacture as well. I absolutely love the details and characteristics of this Jake strutter, switched from avian to dsd and will never think of going back to any other brand. The one issue I do have is butting the fan on, the bolt is barely long enough to get a washer and nut on it, if I were to change it, I would either put a longer bolt or make some sort of clip design to where you could just set the tail in it.
